CVTS Surgeon to Join Employed Practice

Fort Walton Beach Medical Center is recruiting a Cardiovascular-thoracic Surgeon to join an established physician in a fast growing practice. The established surgeon has been in solo practice since 2009 in the community and he is the only CVT Surgeon between Pensacola and Panama City, FL. He averages over 200 open-heart surgeries and 400 plus thoracic and vascular cases a year. There are currently two CVPA's to help with the workload.
Fort Walton Beach Medical Center is a 250 bed community hospital. It has earned the Cardiac Surgery Excellence Award by HealthGrades by ranking in the top 10% in the nation in Cardiac Surgery. FWBMC has the only heart program in a three-county area and is experiencing some of the most significant growth in all of Florida, with the greatest percent of growth in the 55-64 age range.
Fort Walton Beach is a very family friendly southern town and is located between Pensacola and Panama City along Floridas panhandle known as the Emerald Coast. The Emerald Coast has some of the most beautiful sugar white sand beaches in the world. The popular family vacation destination of Destin is only a couple of miles away and offers world-class golf courses, shopping, restaurants, and of course, more white sand beaches. Fort Walton Beach is an excellent place to raise a family as it has exceptional public schools, a variety of fine arts including the symphony and ballet, and recreational activities to include boating, fishing and beach going.
This physician would be employed by the hospital and receive a competitive salary and full benefits including health, life, paid Malpractice, marketing, relocation allowance, sign on bonus, and paid CME, vacation, fees/dues, and 401k.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
