Information Assurance Manager - (IAMGR)

Job Requirements

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements:

  • Conducts vulnerability analysis on common vulnerability exploits (CVEs) to determine if they are applicable to DISAs assets, the impact, the severity, and mitigation techniques.

  • Uploads applicable DISA STIG benchmarks to Security Center(s) on a quarterly basis

  • Deploy ACAS vulnerability scanning and creates the ability to identify credential failures, false positives, scanning issues, and reporting issues.

  • Lead, support, and maintain the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) requirements.

  • Lead the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process for cyber security using applicable tools.

  • Identify, update, and maintain the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) and other required security documentation.

  • Advise and assist associated organizations POCs in their efforts to prepare and submit ATO, Annual Review (AR) and Authority to Connect (ATC) packages to their respective approval authorities.

  • Prepare system documentation for assessment in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST Special Publications (800-37, 800-53 and others); identify deficiencies and provide recommendations for solutions.

Education and Experience:

  • Active Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI

  • Bachelor level degree (BA/BS) in a technical field highly desired

  • DoD 8570. 01M CE Certification - Security+ Certification / Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification (highly desired)

  • Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of the JSIG RMF, ICD-503, and NIST SP 800-53

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, providing IA guidance to other engineers

  • Extensive experience in DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) / Information Assurance

  • Experience with IAVMs, DISA STIGs, POA&Ms, and related Federal/DoD policies and regulations

  • Experience working with government regulations, such as NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, and Risk Management Framework

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
